Outline:
The College provides English classes for speakers of other languages [ESOL] at all levels: full time / part time / evening, at College sites and outreach centres. Language support is available to students on a wide range of academic and vocational courses throughout the College. Access to open learning facilities including IT suites. Foundation courses to enable students to access mainstream courses. Careers advice and guidance.

ESOL classes are offered in several outreach centres. College courses are based in main college centres, but there are also 14 discs [drop in study centres] based throughout the city.
Other Information:
ESOL staff are able to offer support in most European languages plus Somali, Cantonese, Mandarin, Malay, Japanese, Farsi, Arabic. Most situes have wheelchair access. There are [limited] creche facilities.
