Mamadou A Diallo - Biographical Note

I was born in Guinea (Conakry) in 1976 near the Atlantic Coast. I started primary school taught in the area local language, Susu until the education system changed in 1985 when French was reintroduced as the official language. From then, I did all my education using French. In 1995 I passed my second baccalaureate and instead of going to university, I enrolled into a professional school where I did computer maintenance.

I worked a year and half at Centre Informatique NAKO DIABATE in Conakry as IT Technician until I left in the first semester in 2002.

In the UK, I went to do courses for IT Practitioners Systems Support with Networking at Liverpool Community College and Cisco Certified Network Associate which I passed module 1&2 and completed 3&4 at Manchester College for Arts and Technology.

Since the beginning of August 2005, I have been working for Merseyside Network for Change as Community Empowerment Worker and IT support person.
In September 2006, I started a degree in Networks and Telecommunications Engineering at John Moores University while still working part-time with Merseyside Network for Change, managing its Incubator service.
